As we welcome another year, we'd like to take a look back at the progress and achievements we made in 2021. We are so thankful for the support and generosity that have helped us make a difference in Pierce County.
Gratitude
Through the support from this community, St Vinnie's continues to help our neighbors in need by providing compassion and financial assistance to those facing immediate financial crisis. Since October 2020, we have assisted 9,000 people and provided $554,000 in financial assistance. Now more than ever, people need help with gas cards, short-term motel stays, rent/rental deposits and other emergencies.
Eviction Prevention Resources
The pandemic and its effects will be felt in our communities for months and years to come. St. Vincent de Paul of Tacoma, Pierce County continues to help our neighbors in need facing immediate financial crisis. We assist with basic needs, such as gas cards, short-term motel vouchers, grocery vouchers, utilities, ID cards, prescriptions and more. With the eviction moratorium ending June 30, here are some critical resources to help those facing eviction. Please share this with anyone that may need help.
